Heat Treating of Precipitation Hardening (PH) stainless steels is per AMS 2759.
Precipitation hardening is an artificial aging in which a constituent precipitates from a supersaturated solution.
Specialty Brazing equipment includes:
• (2) PVT Aluminum Vacuum Brazing Furnace - 24”x 76”x 44” inside dimensions, and 36”x 36”x 36” inside dimensions, 1200F max. temp., 7 heat zones with Stokes 412-71 vacuum pump, Varian diffusion pump
• (2) Wisconsin Oven Corporation electric ovens - 1000F max. temp., working zone up to 48”x 48”x 60”.
• (2) Despatch electric drying ovens - 24”x 48”x 32” inside dimensions, 500F max. temp.
• Solution Heat-treating and Quenching of 6061 aluminum
